How to get here
We are located in Punta Gorda, 2.5 km passed the town of Balgue. We have a large sign out to the front to the right of the road with a kayak on it.

How to get here:
We are located in Punta Gorda, Ometepe 2.5 km passed Balgue. To reach us you will want to take the ferry from San Jorge to either Moyogolpa or San Jose del Sur.
In San Jorge
When you arrive at the ferry port in San Jorge you will encounter a number of tour operators and shuttle services. I recommend you avoid these providers and arrange everything directly on the island.
By Taxi
We are also always happy to have a taxi waiting for you at the dock. Just let us know what ferry you will be arriving on so we can arrange that for you.
They average between $30-$35.
It is possible you can try and get it for lower at the port. One option is to share a taxi. If you can find people who are heading in the Santa Cruz/Balgue direction you can try and share a cab out here and pay a lower per person rate. Be sure and let your taxi driver know you are going to "El Jardin de la Vida" in Punta Gorda. And keep your eye out for the sign with the kayak.
By Moto/Scooter/4X4
It is possible to rent a motorcycle, scooter or 4X4 in Moyogolpa and drive to our place. Be advised that we are located on a 2.5 km dirt road. If you are not experienced with this type of vehicle it can be very difficult to get here. However, if you are confident, a moto will allow you to explore the island more easily. We also can arrange moto/scooter/4X4 rentals once you arrive here. The prices are slightly higher here than you will pay at the port.
By Bus
Regardless of what you may hear there, we are reachable by bus four times a day every day except Sundays. You will first take a bus from either port to Altagracia. From there the La Palma/Corozal bus departs from Altagracia at 4:45 am, 8 am, 1:30 pm and 6:30 pm. Just tell them you are going to "El Jardin de la Vida" and they know where we are. You can keep an eye out for the kayak on the sign. There are also additional buses from Altagracia that only go as far as Balgue. From Balgue you can opt to walk the 2.5 km or try and find a taxi. We do advise against walking here at night as there is a long stretch of unlit road between us and Balgue.
